W2 Architectural Lighting Introduces PALOMA Track Luminaires at Lightfair

W2 Architectural Lighting's PALOMA Complements Today's Upscale Interiors,
With Clean Architectural Look at LightFair International 2010

LAS VEGAS---Responding to the challenging demands of the industry's leading experts, W2 Architectural Lighting's PALOMA delivers a new family of track luminaires for a clean, unobtrusive and architectural look in a broad range of upscale residential and commercial interiors.  PALOMA will be introduced by W2 Architectural Lighting at LightFair International 2010, at the WAC/W2 Booth #1227, in the Las Vegas Convention Center.  W2 Architectural Lighting, a division of WAC Lighting, is a leading manufacturer and designer of specification grade products for the architectural market.

PALOMA features a sleek design to minimize the impact on upscale residential, retail, hospitality and commercial spaces.  The luminaires are designed with a clean form to marry to the architectural space harmoniously.  Some of the series' highlights include the LED and Halogen MR16 fixtures, with transformers recessed into the W2 2-Circuit Precision Track, to offer a miniature size with a powerful light source.

Delivering high performance in a small package, PALOMA's deep front-cover design offers strong glare control and accommodates up to three lenses and one accessory for the most demanding lighting specifications. Engineered with a 365-degree horizontal rotation and a 180-degree vertical tilt, the fixtures can be aimed at any direction in the space below the ceiling plane. To achieve precise light distribution and glare control, a complete array of accessories is available, including UV/IR lens, spread lenses, and more. For superior optical performance, W2 proprietary designed and crafted reflectors are available with a variety of different beam angles:  Spot, Narrow Flood, and Flood.  A complete offering of wall washers is available for museum and retail displays, and other high-end architectural applications.

The "Twist & Hang" front cover allows single-hand re-lamping operation, increasing maintenance personnel's safety and minimizing maintenance time and effort. Its onboard two-circuit selector features a power-off position to allow flexible power feed.

PALOMA offers a complete range of architectural lighting sources including:  LED, MR16, AR70, AR111, QT-12, plus Par 20, Par 30 and Par 38; as well as HID ES16, Par 20, Par 30 and Par 38, R111, BT-5, T4, T6 and ED17 lamps.
